Yahoo reporting about first now! Almost like they are using the Explorer web browser still. I have at least heard about the project for more than a year ago.
But that aside, I'm not surprised the 155mm cannons or ammo became a failure, when those that do procurement for US Navy didn't even bother and check what ammo is made and being developed for Army artillery. Heck even here in Norway we have extended ammo that could shoot close to the range they wanted. They could have saved a lot of money by working together with the Army artillery programs
