USS Midway CVB-41 Reboot
Hello folks ! Here is USS Midway in its original config as completed with in Measure 21. There is some debate after its original paint, but accordingly to the Museum, I wanted to show it in Navy blue. After a bit of research, most people really don't know for sure the colors showed in mostly black in white pictures of WW2 about her. Since it is not that clear even now, I decided to stay with MS21 late 1945 alteration for the final drawing and I did a ''blue version'' for personnal use. Feel free to comment !
EDIT: The ''Gray version'' of MS21 is the most probable since all US Navy Aircraft carriers were painted Navy Gray (Number 7 recalled 5-N) at the end of 1945. Top view added, see third page for more development of the project.
