Re: The SMSWorld
Here is fighter aircraft. Designed by Praetonians, he is called "MOSQUITO" but in Malay language this is translate as "NYAMUK". Mosquito plane is delta plane, big one, two engine. Naval version for aircraft carrier is shorter because otherwise plane is too long for elevator. But as you can see ground-based AIR FORCE version of plane has rear RADAR boom extender. It's like on some of Russian Su-27 series. So he can fly from aircraft carrier, but only without have RADAR boom extender.
Also as you can see NAVY plane have arresters, AIR FORCE plane do not have.
NOTE on Questarian plane is "TU" not "TPU". TU is simple TENTERA UDARA "AIR FORCE". This show civil war period. Only after civil war did became TPU "FEDERAL AIR FORCE". You can see different marking here from on another planes. Maybe CPT MOHD RAZAK was so famous he can do what he like his plane...

The arrestor hooks get used on airfields too: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... _cable.jpgadenandy wrote:Honestly? Then I would find that most difficult to believe. I am no expert when it comes to aircraft engineering, but it is my understanding that most aircraft do not have the structual integrity for Carrier Operations, and therefore an arrester hook would simply be surplus to requirement adding both weight and drag.
But as I said, I'm no expert in that field old chap and am open to correction.
Airbases have several miles of run out vs. carrier's handful of meters, which is why F-16's tailhook is smaller than say F-18 or F-14. Landing on a carrier would probably rip it off.
he is pink more like sheMJLabunda wrote:We will soon decide about Shrike and aircraft carrier. In current specifications he has MTOW approximately 88 000lb. He's probably too fat for carrier! Haha. But possibly carrier variant can shave down mass to 65 000lb, then OK! In theoretically, we can launched him from aircraft carrier
This one he is for tank-busting. Maybe if Songia sends many tanks to my country TPU [TENTERA PERSEKUTUAN UDARA 'FEDERAL AIR FORCE'] will stopped him with submunition missile
The Chinese people are not to be cowed by U.S. atomic blackmail. Our country has a population of 600 million and an area of 9.6 [million sq. km]. The United States cannot annihilate the Chinese nation with its small stack of atom bombs. Even if the U.S. atom bombs were so powerful that, when dropped on China, they would make a hole right through the earth, or even blow it up, that would hardly mean anything to the universe as a whole, though it might be a major event for the solar system.
Re: The SMSWorld
A patently ridiculous take on what an F-14D upgraded along the lines of the F-15 SMTD/ACTIVE would look like. Canards replacing the glove vanes, conformal fuel tanks a la F-15E (even though it wouldn't work with the landing gear configuration so that's likely somehow different), an aft radar boom and thrust vectoring nozzles from the Su-37, and an otherwise fairly standard air superiority loadout for an F-14D (Sparrows and Sidewinders).

Re: The SMSWorld
Colo, that F-14 looks very badass. Nice job on that splinter camo!
Re: The SMSWorld
Not entirely sure North Point has the funding (or need) to operate Strike Eagles, but if it did...
Re: The SMSWorld
Neat. Everybody needs Eagles of one sort or another

Re: The SMSWorld
Some reconfiguring of the existing alliances in SMSWorld means that NP will now operate E-3 Sentries. We are unsure if this impacts its existing R-99 fleet... they will likely end up getting shifted over to Valmiero as organic AEW&C. Stay tuned.
