That tops off the great Hornet drawing nicely!

Thanks for your input.

1. I agree, the 1.1" quads need work. Thanks for the drawing.

2. The 20mm are better with the shields. I'll swap them out.

3. I disagree with your AA layout for Hornet. She lost all her .50cal's in the Jan/Feb '42 refit at Norfolk. In the Doolittle Raid photo below you can see the stb. aft catwalk 20mm. She had another on the port side but I'm not sure if its forward or aft of the landing signal platform.

As much as I appreciate the Polish drawings you sent me, I'm a little dubious as to their accuracy. The .50cals they show on the aft ramp are missing from the top down view. The 20mms cut into the aft ramp are also missing. Also, I've realized that the overhang under the island was cut back after the removal of the crane machinery.

I'll make the necessary changes... but the detailing never ends for these ships. There's also a refueling rig hanging under the island

Small update of Hornet. Redrew 1.1" quads. Added shields to the 20mms. Cut back the overhang under the island. Some main mast alterations.
