Replying to page 2... Caroline's the only ship still around that fought in the Battle of Jutland. Amazing how you can draw the ships but don't know their history, eh? ;) [I'm the exact opposite, so that's not an insult]

Superb :D I particulary like the Colombo in her wartime 'modernisation'. Will we see more of the C's and D's? I have some scans I can post if you're interested (though you've probably got them)

Oh I knew she was at Jutland and in fact also knew she was around in 2000, but I wasn't sure she is still around now, that is 2010. In fact as she appeare in 2000 is on the way (will take some time though).

I hope that someday - sooner rather than later - she's restored to her former glory and made a museum ship.

Caroline is due to be put out of 'action' this year. The plan is to keep it as a museum ship. Restoration is in discussion, but in discussion only, no plans to actually do that. The ship will be held 'in commission' with the Royal Navy until a satisfactury future has been established.

I'd quote BrockPaine here :
I sure hope to see her as museum ship.

Fantastic looks great.

I've heard Caroline will be staying in Belfast. Would like to see her back to her WW1 fit.
