Re: Sprinklez's Random Projects Dump
Very nice gunboat,
my only thoughts are if you could raise the stern 5" up a deck to clear the stern for ASW/mining or fit 4 guns?
I would then have the 1.1" AA guns moved to beside the funnel?
I would anyway move the .5MGs (especially the rear 4 guns) as they need sky arcs to be useful AA as at this date they are not just anti small boat guns like now but also realistic AA guns (or at least considered such pre WWII)?
I also question your deck 0 and 3" belt, I think simply splinter protection and then something 1"-2" caps over Mags is all you would have?

Re: Sprinklez's Random Projects Dump
Though I know they're sort of Shipbucket-inspired style rather than rigorously adhering to guidelines, they're very lovely drawings. The design seems sensible enough to me--nothing jumps out as obviously wrong or broken. The mast might be a little cramped, but it's not outright crazy. Presumably we're seeing radar-band ESM arrays near the masthead at 0/90/180/270, and the large flat panels on the 45s are phased-array illuminators or something?

Re: Sprinklez's Random Projects Dump
Correct. The top elements are RESM and CESM, while the panes on the 45s are CEAMOUNT illuminators. I've used a lot of Blackbuck's parts, here, so the style doesn't conform 100% to my usual norm (which is closer to SB Standard) in order to make the parts better integrate.
