Shipbucket

Hi
I'm looking for a drawing of the Satsuma class battleship. I was able to find a drawing of a heavily modified fictional version, but not the base original drawing. I also found a thread which someone was talking about drawing it, but again, I couldn't find the drawing they had done?

Does anyone know anything about this drawing? If I can't find it, I might have a go at drawing it myself.

I attempted drawing it a few years back, but got too bogged down by contradicting sources and my own lack of interest. Karatoa has used the base for a few of his older Japanese drawings on his site, but after the great Majhost crash of January '15, I lost all my WIPs.

My Satsuma page still has your original KHT.

Holy hell, that was a long time ago.

Leafent; if you wish to use my drawing, go ahead. I would recommend doing your own version, though; mine is riddled with inconsistansies and errors because of above mentioned contradicting sources, and I would not consider it to be an accurate drawing beyond showing the general gist of the design.

KHT: I think I will have a go at drawing it, using your old drawing as a guide. Anyway, when I first saw it I thought it was pretty old, and that it needs updating at the least. Might be a change from my normal freelance designs.
