Rehearsals for an AU

#1 Post by sebu »

As the title says, I'll publish here drafts of (hopefully) coming AU-project.
I'd like to know if they'll float or/and if you'd like to see your name in credits; there are a lot of parts etc. from various artists... as usual ;)

Sebu, I just love the elegant lines of your Mannerheim! I have to admit it makes my Göta Lejon look like an awful tub!

:D i love the design of the mannerheim,

You used the 76 mm STRALES turret, but you can use compact or stealth turrets aswell to fire DART ammo, the STRALES is just for ships that not have a good guidance system. I dont know if you wanted the STRALES or just used them so u have the DART ammo, you can change it if you want to.

I thought Strales is especially for Dart ammo and capable firing other 76 ammo too; not other way around? Nevertheless, I think I'll keep Strales anyway.

Now something else: this has been here earlier but now I got "proper" camo for it ;)

Excellent stuff, as usual! These look very fine for a rehearsal.
The Halli looks very interesting, and that camo scheme must have taken you ages to get right.

That is the proposed DCNS SMX-26 submarine concept.

The camo scheme on the first picture is different, and I would not suggest taking the underwater schemes as a reference because they are underwarer.

As you can see on the first picture the main color is green, the second color is grey, the third white/light grey and there appears to be another more brownish green.

then your camo scheme appears to be light grey, dark green, something close to olive drab.

when looking at your scheme the patches are frequently noizy as in they have a lot of tiny dots next or in the other patch, where the first picture of the website appears to be patches only, except for a single grey "dot" on the side of the submarine.

so either have this as your own camo, which is always a good option or redo the scheme using the order I suggested in the second sentence, and make it look cleaner.

but for everything else, awesome stuff for trying something new and interesting!
