I really don't know if this one has been done before; but since I own one, the girlfriend is away and I just wanted to make one before going to bed: a Valk (translated: Falcon), based on my own.
There are thousands of them; polyester, wood, I even saw a Aluminum one. They are easy to handle and capable of going very fast; which makes them very popular sailing vessels in Dutch lakes and even the more sea-like lakes.
Also: this one is 6,50 m; 0,50 meters shorter than the watertaxi

Thanks! I have to adapt the rudder a little bit, but overall I am very content with this one.
Since there are so many different types of Valks (rudder placement, colours, outboard engine, built in engine, long masts, short masts, etc.); I think I will be busy with this class for a long time...
If any of you knows a variation I haven't posted yet (other than colors, but, while busy anyway, appreciated!), just adapt this drawing. Should any of you like, I will make a base drawing; but first let's see if there's anybody willing to work on it.

Nice one and may I suggest you make it also in FD-Scale. It is just about the right size for FD-Scale

I would love to try (also, maybe that would be a great scale to draw my yacht design in), but what exactly is FD scale? Are there any templates and how much meters/feet is a pixel?

There is whole separate sub-forum devoted to FD scale (as for the origins of the name, and why exactly this scale is as is, I can't tell You as it's here longer than I am
).
http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=20
Scale in FD is 1 metre = 22,093 pixel.
There are templates for it somewhere (or You can just use one from any earlier FD drawings and clean it up for Your own use). However while for the "main" SB template sizes are rigid and not to be changed, for FD there is apparently more flexibility allowed (in other words: they should be standard sized when possible - smallest 1000x330, but when not possible You can change it as needed).

So, I think it's time to do a little update on this one:
The rudder was far from perfect, it missed one pixel and the Valk badge.
Talking about the rudder:
The first drawing was based on my own Valk, but really; it's quite rare compared to the version with the rudder mounted on the back.
As you perhaps noted, the colour of the badges varies. As there are quite a few different colours being used, I decided to use it for labeling my drawings.
Blue: You will see this one in real life the most; I will use it on the version you will mostly see: the one with the rudder on the transom.
Red: You won't see this very often, but it's not that rare either: the one with the rudder fitted under the hull.
Green: Quite rare; this one will be used on the Valks with a built-in engine, solar panels, or other wacky features..
I will start working on other versions after I finish 2 big (not shipbucket-related) projects.
