Propulsion system size question...

Hello all. For those of you who don't know me, I usually hang out in the AU threads. Recently, I've started to try to make my designs more realistic, by starting with the innards of the ship and working around that.

Now for the question; Are there any good sources to find the sizes of power-plants, most notably gas turbines and nuclear reactors? I know that there are good sources here on Shipbucket showing the internal systems of a few weapons like deck guns and missile launchers, but none of propulsion systems...

Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks. :)

Huh, this is really interesting, thanks a lot my Norsky friend! Do you know where I can find more military engines?

Something similar to the General Electric LMS100. I'm not very comfortable scaling just based on people, but I suppose I could try...

There's this [1], but I'm not sure that that's the engine, so I won't be able to label it for future use. Same goes for this, [2]...

Well, Ryan Crierie has some data on reactor compartment sizes in The Big Book of Warfare.

Would it be okay for me to make an engine parts sheet?

LM2500 is in the bellow deck part sheet.

Engine Part sheet, look at Ace bellow deck parts sheet, there you have the LM2500 and some other engine, all engine that you draw bellong to the bellow deck part sheet, just because an engine is something that is bellow deck!
