Yes, posting without crediting the original artist is not acceptable, and ignorance is no excuse.

I believe that the ship is being built, although the use of the Lockheed Martin F-35B is highly speculative. Two ships of the class are planned, DDH-183 and DDH-184. The class is also known as 22DDH. I presume that the ship will also be named for an ancient province of Japan if JS Hyūga (DDH-181) and JS Ise (DDH-182) are any indication. Settsu? Kiwachi?

Additional Information:

Oh, I see now. The ship is in a CATOBAR (Catapult Assisted Take Off Barrier Arrested Recovery) configuration. So the aircraft would be Lockheed Martin F-35C Lightning II.

I can only assume he means that he hates the insistence on crediting... for some reason...

Dude, you draw a ship like you write a history text. If you use an idea/piece of someone else's work, you credit them. In a text, this comes as a reference to that work. In this, it comes by including their name in the header. It's not narcissism, it's good manners.

There is no option here; please ammend the drawings to show the original artist's name, followed by yours. If you don't the topic will be deleted
