Kang Ding (La Fayette) Class

#1 Post by Clonecommander6454 »

Since the Shipbucket's standard have improved so much, and the details missing in the old drawing, I have decided to redraw a newer version of the Kang Ding Class.

Better right? Let's compare it to the old drawing:

Nice. two small points:

You should reverse the Mk-32 torpedo tubes in the starboard side view and you got the names wrong in the title block. It should read "MConrads & PolluxDeltaSeven & Clonecommander6454"

All in all a fine update.

very nice work indeed, but 2 small points:
- the LW-08 radar's foot is a bit lowered into the mast. you cut some important parts of them as well.
-also, those directors look quite bad, I don't know what they are but isn't there an better part around?
Drawings are credited with J.Scholtens
I ask of you to prove me wrong. Not say I am wrong, but prove it, because then I will have learned something new.

Very nice improvement! Specially on the radar. Did you draw the radar yourself or is it from a new parts sheet I haven't seen yet?

...and, better looking propellers. Those you have are obsolete ones that really doesn't do the drawing any justice.

It is much improved.

Courtesy requires that, if a person wishes to update someone else's drawing, they first get permission from that other person (or at least make an effort to contact them). Did you do so in this case? If not, please do so in the future.
