Help identifing medals from Korean War

I was rummaging through some boxes and I found a set of medals which belonged to my Grandfather, he passed away when I was young all I know is that he was korean war vet. Any help would be much appreciated.

I can't speak english fluently, so please, understand my position.
First of all, i'd like to thank your grand father for the hard work during the Korean War.
The Korea Veterans like your grand father are our hero. God Bless you and your family.

It is not easy for me to translate from korean to english. So there are many mistakes.
1. it's kind of insignia???
2. the badge for a (marksman, sharpshooter) of U.S Army.
3. it looks like a button of uniform.
4. a symbol of your grand father's (battalion, squadron)
5. the mark of 24th Infantry Division, Hawaiian Division.
6. a order for service in defence of the principles of the charter of the united nations.
7. a order for long service in the U.S Army.
8, a commendation for division given by The Korean president.
9. a commendation for division given by The U.S president.
10. a war medal of korea veaterans for the U.S soldier.
11. national defence service medal for the U.S military service.


We never forget the hero, korean war veterans.

#1- The two blue ribbons are UN service ribbons issued by the US Army, for Korean War UN force service
The red, yellow and blue ribbon is a National Defense Ribbon- means that you were on active duty during wartime.

#2- Expert Marksmanship Medal- the particular weapon qualified with is on the hanging tag.
Means that Gramps was a good shot.

#3- This is a branch insignia- can't make it out.
It indicates which professional 'Corps' (Infantry, Artillery, MP, JAG, etc) the soldier was in.

#4 Unit Crest- this is the insignia of the particular Battalion Gramps was in.

#5 Unit Patch- This will tell which Brigade, Army Corps, Division, that Gramps was a part of.

#6, 10, 11- These are the medals to go with the ribbons on #1.

#7- Army Good Conduct Ribbon; Gramps didn't get into any trouble.

#8- Republic Of Korea Presidential Unit Citation; award for performance to an entire unit given by the Pres of the ROK

#9- Army Unit Meritorious Service Ribbon; award for performance to an entire unit given by U.S. Army

Not sure which unit that the Unit Crest represents, the Unit Patch is the 24th Infantry Division.
