USS Growler SSG-557

The USS Growler is the second and final Greyback class submarine, whose main goal was to test the Regulus I and II cruise missiles.



Additionally, here are some pictures of the exterior and interior of the USS Growler that I took on my visit to NYC.

Nice work. Nice to see someone drawing the postwar USN subs.

I would not base any drawings on the illustrations DP shows above - they are notoriously inaccurate. I would stick to the drawings in Friedman's US Subs, or from booklets of general plans.
