Good morning:
A inmediate post-war SMG, the Spanish Bonifacio Echevarria Star Z-45.
Owing a lot of its design to the german MP-40, the first models were chambered to the powerful 9x23 Largo which was the standard samall arms cartridge of the spanish armed forces and the Guardia Civil military police. Later, a folding stock model, chambered to the much more usual 9 mm Parabellum was adopted both by the spanish military and by the peruvian Guardia Civil (spanish trained) well until the late 1970s. Very nice reytuerto! Really like the muzzle. I'd love to see it with the stock folded under like many of the MP-40s.
