yes, we have some suggestions. you just don't listen to them.

shipbucket is home to engineers, engineering students, historics, warship enthousiasts and many, many more knowledgeable people. you ask for suggestions, but our comments are ignored.
we are eager to help, to let your create beautiful drawings of ships that exist, could have existed, do exist or are possible to have existed. your work is not off that standard.... yet. it could be, if you took our comments too haert and designed working ships. right now, die a little inside every time you post one of your monstrosities based on bits and pieces from our hard work.

if you don't want our help, then don't ask for our comments.

As just about the newest regular poster here I'd like to back up what the others here have said. I, too, started with a daft AU idea, but, to the credit of everybody here, the idea was taken on it's merits and genuine feedback presented - as a result, the almost-final drawing is much, much better than the original (and will be posted soon, for some reason start playing with Paint.NET in the middle of doing the drawing) - even if the idea is a little wacky, you will get decent feedback. All you need do is _listen_ and the help is there.

For instance, there have been discussion threads about truly huge carriers, some off the back of Admiral Furashita's work, detailing why they've been proposed - and why nobody's built them.

Anyway, I'll finish here, as I suspect I'm not contributing all that much to this discussion.

Regards,
Ad

Here. Have one on me....

I started one based off the very same (I believe) plans you're using for this for my AU. I've not gotten around to finishing it though.... Do what you will with it!

The gay pride parade planes are a good touch.

You forgot the rainbow flag though. ):

I'm pretty sure you know that they're in what equates to undercoat at SB scale not an actual livery...
