Good Morning Ashley
Thank's for Your efford to restore Your drawings in this Forum. Maybe the following question is very silly:
+What is Asgard. My Research in the net shows a game and many hotels, Shops, etc.?
+ Do You know a web.side or web.adress of asgard?
Thank's for an answer.

Asgard is a mythical place where gods live in the german pagan mythology. Idiom "Drawings gone to Asgard" mean that they were deleted or lost.scharrenberg wrote:Good Morning Ashley

Actually, Asgard is from Norse mythology, the Scandinavian mythology.
Re: Kriegsmarine 1946, second approach
Norse mythology is really a branch of Germanic paganism... Odin was originally the Germanic Wodanaz, Freya Frijjo, Tyr Teiwas, and so on. Sure, it is mainly from Norse mythos that we know of Asgard, but I think we can assume that the concept of the home of the gods, like them, are older.

Re: Kriegsmarine 1946, second approach
Do not watch movies or tv to improve basic knowledge.
Read a book. In this case read 'Edda'.

Obviously my comment wasn't meant literally, hence the "haha" at the end, I thought that was plain enough. Only and idiot would think that watching a film would compare to reading a book on the subject.Ashley wrote:Do not watch movies or tv to improve basic knowledge.
