Lots of nice work in this thread. Keep it up! :)

Although in the last post I'd suggest You try to reduce amount of double black lines on F-2 Jaguar (they appear esp. in the tail and wing area).

This is a replacement for the old Príncipe de Asturias, based on the same design as the venezuelan and brazilian carrier but downsized to meet spanish requirements and using some spanish equipment. The ship was assembled by Navantia under license.

Interesting though doubtful, at least the Spanish export. For starters their existing LHD/CVL will be doing a good job still at the time this would be being bought I guess. Secondly it like the RN CVFs is an awful amount of ship for not a lot of aircraft. The financial state that Spain is and probably still will be recovering from would probably mean that even if this was built it'd only have blow up planes and helicopters or a couple or remote controlled toys on it... That said it's an interesting thought to see Spain being more of a maritime power again.

Thanks for the comments. The reason i decided to do a spanish carrier was because i thought it could be interesting and also to put the spanish navy on a closer level to other european navys, like the french or italian navys. I also made a CATOBAR variant of the same carrier but just as you said i dont think spain has the money to operate it along with the whole range of aircraft it would require like hawkeyes and others but they could transfer a couple of hornets from the air force.
