UPDATE: Test shot of the SV-51 airgroup, tan colored ones are SV-51α (Alpha - Mass production model), the maroon and dark grey ones are called SV-51γ (Garma - Ace/Flight Commander model)..belonging to Polanski and Ivanov, respectively.

bringing back a bit of life to this thread....

this DDG is from the anime series Code Geass. one of my favorite anime's, positioned in a world with an entirely alternate history.

little is known about these ships. it is the mainline ship of the Brittanian Navy, and it seems based on the design of the real world type 45. the main difference is the ability to launch portman aquatic knightmare frames, and airborne knightmare frames. possibly they can launch knightmare VTOL's as well.
(note: please don't ask in this thread WTF knightmare frames are.... you can pm me if you want to know, then I will send you an link to the code geass wiki page about them.... so google might be easier :P)
armament consist at least of ASROC (depth charge version) and the guns, CIWS arnament and other missiles might be on board (most likely) but are not shown in the anime.

I will make an second version as well, now more detailed up to the latest sb standards

redo of the mirai WIP. with my new kongo and more knowledge of her and ships in general then before, I think I am doing her more justice then before :P
everything in front of the harpoon is done, the umidori needs redoing and other then that, it is mostly detailing what's left.
to compare with my original drawing:
