She's got no sonar :?

Don't get me wrong, the quality of the drawing is good, and you haven't overloaded the hull - so I see promise here, but some form of sonar would be good.

Just a couple of minor points. By this time the RAN was showing the pennant number without any flag superior; and the proper term (for a class) would be Federation, as there was never a 'union'. :)

Maybe use the same pennant number from a RAN Perry class?

You used the old 5" gun on both of them, the new one is in the USN Parts Sheet in the forum
Probably posting from and iPhone and naval terms befuddle it. If I say a ships' hill, you know what I meant.

I'll def cange the guns when i get a chance. Using laptop today with no mouse, so not even worth trying.

I like the idea of the Hawks for also being used for patrol, but to be honest there is nothing out there for them to really look for that the Nimrods can't do better.

The RN is looking at a possible purchse of Global Hawks from the US in order to cut the man power needs for Containment patrols.

sorry couldnt help myself. did a HMS Hermes Catobar Hawk Carrier Last night. Fun fun fun :) will put up soon. Just as a training carrier. I am wondering if the UK government in 1980 decided that the Invincibles werent what they wanted and decided they could afford something better. Selling 1 to Spain, 1 to Australia and 1 to Brazil. - Just a thought.

something not part of my AU but wanted to play with one of the best drawings on here. If Vanguard had stayed in the fleet and been reactivated in 1980 - would this look like it might in 1983?
