Might I suggest that to get a better feel for the scale, you select some smaller ship that hasn't been drawn yet, and start with that. Once you have that done, you'll have a much better feel for the scale and the techniques used to generate good drawings.

Also, rather than tarting from scratch I'd start out with a never built or real design. That way you can focus on getting the style down pat rather than designing the ship itself.

Or, if adamant about doing something of one's own design, start with something a little less complex and grandiose than literally the largest and most complex ship that would have ever existed.

I like Challenges when I took on this project I swore I would finish it. I knew from the beginning this projects difficulty level was insane but I wanted to do it so here is my recent progress with it....

Wasn't this ship drawn before?

You can tell it's a "paper napkin" design because it's very literally a linear scale-up of Bismarck all the way to including the now pointless catapult launching area which now has the same square area as an Iwo Jima LPH.
This drawing literally demonstrates near-zero knowledge of nautical engineering. Everything I just said I basically repeated years ago on Spacebattles, where people still wank over this.

A former user drew it as an imaginative exercise, yes. With at least a little more practical engineering knowledge thrown in for good measure.
EDIT: My comments apply specifically and only to the "napkin drawing" that was posted before, not to Lord Bladamine's Shipbucket-style attempt.

Hi Heuhen,
I believe ace already provided the link earlier in the thread, but I think you're referring to lazer_one's H45 here:

Lazer_One's design is good, but I wanted to make my own version of the H-45. I will change the name to H-45 KMS BlackFireStormFlash (my nickname) and My company is going to build it. And don't worry!! I am cutting the size down when it gets built it will be realistic and possible to make the ships length is 1,299 feet long (395.9352 meters) instead of being 2,020 feet long (615.69600 meters) which probably could never be built because of its insane length!!

Please just generate a drawing that isn't something where you've taken a smaller shipbucket drawing and stretched it.

that is not what I did when I was satisfied with my design in windows paint I split the ship in 2 then connected it together after that that is when I put the planes on the ship this is the ship you thought I stretched
I understand why you think I stretched this design because this is what it looks like stretched
the base picture I used was :
then I went crazy with the design
