I was your age some moons ago when I joined here, there are a few members about your age though.
Climbed Mount Kosciuszko last November, still a fair amount of snow on the path, barefoot ascent wasn't too bad though

Hi Rodondo: Barefoot in the snow? May I ask why? Cheers.
P.S. The blue of the sky is very beautiful.

Re: Post your picture
Finally back at hiking after one-and-a-half months of inactivity (a few lost chances and a 2+ weeks-long horrible heat wave inbetween).
(now that I think of, I possibly have not posted any from my hikes before...)

Hi, BB1987, nice landscape! May I ask where you are? Cheers!
Re: Post your picture
Well BeeBee, I figure $30 a cut 4 times a year so that's $120 x11 = $1320.
You are way ahead of me, I'm just coming up on 2 years, so only $240 for me. Every time Her Indoors makes a comment I ask what she spent the extra money on.

Gran Sasso mountain chain, in the Abruzzi region. The town in the back, on the right, down the valley is L'Aquila (known to most foreigners for the devastating earthquake of 2009.. there is still a sea of cranes for reconstruction works in the historical city center ).
The summit on which I stand is 2.425mt high (or 7.960 feet, roughly), it can be reached from the plateau of Campo Imperatore with a nice and panoramic hike (the last 1km or so involves some scrambling fun).
Never thought it that way It is usually 20 euros each however. Or at least it was back then
