It was fairly expensive and it hit the market too late. It was made from cast and milled air-craft grade aluminium and it wasn't offered for sale until 1962. By then most NATO nations had settled on either the FAL or the G3. Additionally, DISA didn't really have the capacity tomake them in large numbers. It was supposedly used by some special forces, but I've been unable to substantiate it.

It looks like a mix of the G3A3 and the HK33.
I've been unable to find any pictures of a G3 of any sort with that type of sideplate on the trigger group, but it's a feature of the HK33. On the other hand the rear of the receiver is definitely from a G3

I though i had the G3A3 version, i based the drawing from a picture.
It seems that H&K produce more version for the civilian market (or better say: Texasian market)
I will have to start from scrath again.
