Hi, Erik-T. Yes, my drawing is incomplete yet. I saw the shadow of the deadline just over me, so I post the destroyer just as it was. I hope to be improving it until the end of the challenge. And I will follow your indications about those details. The depth charges will be replaced by a BPDMS in mid 1970s. May I ask if the heating of the torpedoes is also necessary in the relative sunny Mediterranean sea? Thanks for your comments and cheers.

In the Med, I suspect exposed launchers would be fine in that era.

Your exposed torpedo launchers would not have any problem in Meditteranean.

The Fuyutsuki class was the kantai navis second class guided missile destroyer  unlike the previous Isonami class which itself was merely a conversion of an already existing destroy class, The Fuyutsuki class however was designed from the Ground Up to be a guided missile Destroyer from the start, the first of the class Fuyutsuki  was commissioned in 1960  with a Total of 15 ships in the class would be constructed from 1957 to 1967.

The class would ultimately serve from the early 60s up until the late 80s  the last of the class Okitsukaze  was decommissioned  on 17th of October 1990.

I like that ship, a County seeing bit differently. I have to comment on propulsion: 29,000 hp are too little for a 6,200 ton destroyer.

What kind of GMLS is that for your Terrier system?

which one of the two drawings do you mean  are you talking about the type 78 vls system or the ML 11 GMLS or are you talking about MK8 terrier GMLS.

Whatever it is, that certainly is not an Mk 8..... you seem to have mostly picked parts from the Mk 10 GMLS. an Mk 8 is an extremely compact on-deck installation, as shown here: http://www.shipbucket.com/wiki/index.ph ... rrier_GMLS

You would need another deck under that helideck to fit an Mk 8. The Mk 10 you seem to have used is available operationally for the US Navy in 1960, so technically possible for you to use, although the first foreign exported systems were in 1962 (as can be found http://www.shipbucket.com/wiki/index.ph ... rrier_GMLS here)

The SPG-55 was also first used in 1961, so also out of range for this challenge You are most likely stuck with an SPQ-5 http://shipbucket.com/wiki/index.php/AN/SPQ-5

btw, the Terrier missile was updated over time, it is unlikely you would be using the same type for all those years, and I think the one you start with in 1960 is a bit too new.
