Re: Random picture thread Mk 2
hm... ehh.. American submarines...
let us see, I think we have:
Top to Bottom:
Thomas A. Edison (SSBN-610)
Skipjack (SS-585)
Snook (SSN-592)
Henry Clay (SSBN-625)
Unknown FBM (SSBN-???) it's a Ethan Allen-class
Lapon (SSN-661)
Dace (SSN-607)
Skate (SSN-578)
Swordfish (SSN-579)
Sargo (SSN-583) (the longest submarine in the picture)
Seadragon (SSN-584)
Across the pier are:
Thomas Jefferson (SSBN-618)
Patrick Henry (SSBN-599) (not in view)
George Washington (SSBN-598)
Barb (SSN-596)
Sea Devil (SSN-664)
oh..... Google is the magic!
Apparently all these submarines have had there reactors removed on that picture.

How Russians break ice.
What a tragic end to the unfortunately named Love Love...
...actually the boat was built that way. French artist Julien Berthier built this perpetually sinking boat from an abandoned sailboat. Certainly a cool piece of functional art, but I do wonder, why did he name it Love Love?

“Close” only counts with horseshoes, hand grenades, and tactical nuclear weapons.
