Your post just made my day! Fantastic that someone's finally doing justice to the Su-27 in a way only you could.

Fleet 16B in Canadian service
Canada's indigenous basic trainer during WWII.
In 1928, Consolidated Aircraft in the US dropped their light aircraft business, and Fleet Aircrraft was setup in Canada to market the aircraft internationally. Progressive development from the Model 10 eventually led to the Model 16 in 1938. After evaluation the type entered service as a basic trainer with the RCAF immediately before WWII, sharing the role with Canadian built DH82C Tiger Moths. With the formation of the Empire Training Scheme the need for trainers increased dramatically, and eventually a total of 431 aircraft were built for the RCAF. Initial aircraft were delivered with open cockpits, but Canadian conditions soon ensured that aircraft were built with a heated, closed canopy.
After the war many aircraft were demobbed into civilian use, and the aircraft remain popular as private aircraft.

I've always had a sweet spot for the DHC-3. Stuck between its better-known siblings, the Beaver and the Twin-Otter, the Otter is not often seen or reffered to. It's really nice to have these great drawings of it!
I remember seeing one (on floats) side-by-side with a turbo Beaver on a lake somes years ago. The sound of that P&W Wasp was simply beautiful!

Fleet 16D in Portugese service
There was only one export customer for the Fleet 16, Portugal.
In May 1941 Fleet delivered 15 model 16D trainers to Portugese Naval Aviation. The aircaft were fundamentaly the same as the 16B, just with a slightly more poweful version of the Kinner engine.

Junkers Ju 52
The initial design for the Ju 52 was for the largest single-engined cargo aircraft.
Developed as an successor to the Junkers W33/W34 series of transports, the Ju 52 had its first flight in late 1930. Work was started on an initial batch of 12 aircraft, but Junkers had misjudged the world economy and after trials of the first prototype with Luftfrako only one aircraft was able to be sold (to Canada). Only 7 aircraft were completed before Junkers decided to offer a passenger version of the Ju 52 to the world market in an attempt to keep the design in production. With an order for 2 passenger aircraft from Lloyd Aero Boliviano, Junkers' hopes were validated and the design modified for the extra safety and reliability of 3 engines, and the partially completed airframes became the first Ju 52/3m aircraft.
The Ju 52 was also offered to the German military as the Junkers K45c. After trials as a torpedo bomber the single-engined Ju 52's entered Luftwaffe service as target tugs for naval gunnery over the Baltic, remaining in service until the end of the war.

Re: FD Aircraft 19
Excellent additions from everyone, especially the lesser known Fleet trainers and the first Ju 52 - it certainly looks different in its original guise.
