Oooooo. . . But I like that scheme so much, what is a typical post war/early cold war scheme for the Finnish Air Force?
Yea, its quite catchy color shceme I have to admit :D
Of post-war colors, most aircrafts retained what they had from the war era, just with new markings. There weren't that much new additions for the airforce in immediate postwar years since monies and political will for rearmament were sparse. First new purchased aircrafts, some trainers and utility hacks as well as the Vampire yets were all natural metal finish and with the new cockade style national markings.

Tornado looks very nice in Korean colors.
Btw. wasn't Japan considering buying Tornados in the 1980s? (hint, hint ;) )

Very cool! I think the Tornado was briefly considered by Australia as a Mirage replacement when they were thinking of a two aircraft solution...
