The level of detail is awe inspiring as always! You are getting closer and closer to Yonaga. Just one question, how much good is the radar antenna behind the stack?

The radar was in the same position on Taiho and kai-Taiho, and apparently worked fine; therefore I saw no reason to change it. The radar suite and probably the position of the radar itself will of course be updated throughout the ship's service life, so it probably won't always be located there.Syzmo wrote:Just one question, how much good is the radar antenna behind the stack?
Thanks! Sadly, Yonaga will not be making an appearance in this AU, but now that you mention the name, I'm getting ideas. Perhaps when Japan builds their first CVN...or should that honor go to the name Hosho? Hmm...decisions, decisions.Syzmo wrote:The level of detail is awe inspiring as always! Hmm, you are right about Taiho, I stand corrected.
Yonaga would be a fitting name for a supercarrier.
I really want to see someone draw Peter Albino's Yonaga. Let me rephrase that, I really want someone to do a good job drawing Yonaga, or I would try it myself... Those were the first "grown up" books I ever read.

I'd like to see her on the forum myself...only problem is that to my knowledge there are no clear drawings of how she looked. I haven't read the whole book series, so there might be a drawing of her in one of the books...I dunno.Syzmo wrote:I really want to see someone draw Peter Albino's Yonaga.
