(FD Scale) Rocket Plane Challenge
Throughout the last 121 years of powered flight, many novel forms of propulsion have been tried (with varying success). Among the most frequently researched is the use of rocket motors for atmospheric flight. For this challenge, you are tasked with designing an aircraft that uses a solid or liquid-fuel rocket motor as a means of propulsion. This can be the only means of propulsion or a component of a mixed-propulsion setup. Your aircraft can fulfill any role, but must make its first flight no sooner than 1925.
Design Requirements:
1. Your submission should depict a fictional aircraft which utilizes rocket propulsion (mixed propulsion is permitted)
2. Your aircraft should first fly some time after 1925 but before the present day (near-future designs are not permitted).
3. Your aircraft can fill any role, from short-term research to active combat service.

Command and/or Tracking Ship Challenge
The goal of this challenge would be to create a fictional vessel, purpose built or conversion, that would be capable of operating as a fleet (or whatever) command ship. The ship would not be limited by size but would be required to be capable of:
- Having enough space for fleet command operations (space for various offices, command staff, etc.)
- Sending and receiving large amounts of communications
- (If tracking ship) Have the ability to continuously keep contact with multiple targets in space and/or the air.
- Weapons are not required, but are encouraged.
- Timeframe limitation: WWI+
- Any other requirements felt necessary by Kiwi.

SoBu:
Interwar Light Tank Challenge
Cruiser Tank Challenge
Infantry Tank Challenge
Tankette Challenge
Logistics Challenge (Depict a fictional military logistics vehicle in SoBu)
Gunbucket/Weaponbucket/Pistolbucket:
Early Assault Rifle Challenge (Depict a fictional early assault rifle, think something like the StG 44)

Country estate challenge
SB Scale
A notable and wealthy man has recently inherited a decrepit estate from a family member, and looking forward to make it to good use, has called your firm to bring said estate to a new golden age.
Design Requirements:
1. Your submission should include a main property (it can range in size from a small country house to a large palace or a castle, and be of any architectural style you want).
2. Your submission should also include at least one and up to three additional smaller size buildings (stable, dower house, distillery, orangery, etc...).
3. You may also include a map of the estate, in any scale you want.
4. All parts of your estate (buildings + map) must be depicted at the same point in time, but the estate itself can be from any era.
The main objective to this challenge is to promote buildingbucket as it is something that has been abandoned despite great potential, it also provide with a large variety of choices on the design of the estate itself.

I would like to support the following ideas mentioned here:
- Soldierbucket Cold War Armoured Car Challenge (1946-1991)(JCSTCap)
- Mech Challenge. (JCSTCap) (FD or SoBu)
'Wonder Nine' semi-automatic 9x19mm double action pistol with double-stack magazine. (Kiwi Imperialist) GB obvs
Infantry company organization chart in FD scale. (Kiwi Imperialist)
Organization of a mechanized battalion (FD) (RoPo)
RipSteakface export tank (but in sobu)
spacebucket:
spaceship (again) (various)
I would also like to propose a Modern not-tank challenge for SoBu. Western spoke of a challenge where you would draw something that's not a tank but looks like a tank to a layman. I found the issue too nuanced for challenge rules because a tank is what you use as a tank. I suggest instead broadening it to AFVs that are not tanks, thus only excluding actual tanks. This vehicle should be in service in some capacity in the current day.

Seconding:
- "End of History" weapon challenge
And proposing:
"Catapult armed destroyer" challenge (SB scale)
To act as a the scout for a flotilla or division of destroyers, your nation has outfitted some of their destroyers with a catapult system capable of launching at least one floatplane or seaplane. The time period for this challenge should be set after 1914 and before 1950. Large destroyers should be accounted for, but ships displacing above, perhaps, 4000 tons standard should be considered larger than destroyers.
"Airborne Early Warning System" challenge
Your task is to craft and draw an airborne early warning aircraft. This can be both rotary and fixed wing, purpose built or converted from an existing airframe. Both naval and ground based units are permissible, which should offer great variety in terms of possible designs, from large, four engined Sentries to radar equipped helicopters for task group air warning. I propose a time period from 1945 to 2000.

Hi guys. May I propose a really hard challenge? The most aesthetically ungainlly real life warship (BB, CA, CL, DD, FF). Cheers

How about a 'before and after' challenge?
Take an existing ship and then 'refit' it to fill a partially/completely different role; eg the Baltimore gun cruisers that got turned into Albany missile cruiser, or the Japanese aviation battleships, or even a WWI battleship that got turned into a cargo ship.
