Re: FD scale Aircrafts - Post all your flying objects here
Hi all! I've tried turning my hand to actually drawing an FD-scale aircraft. It's supposed to be the McDonnell Douglas A-12 Avenger II that was wanted by the US Navy but cancelled by the US government after the cost of the programme got out of control. I've used as many source images as possible but I am the first to admit that I am not very good at drawing and there aren't that many good images that I could find.
If anyone wants to work on it then please feel free.
P.S. I HOPE that I've uploaded this images right, I still can't get my head around it!

I can't speak to the accuracy of the image (I don't have any refs for the A-12 on hand), but it is posted correctly.

Lovely And the Mossie, arguably the best all round combat aircraft in WWII. Imagine what could have been acheived if it had gone into service earlier.

Love the Mosquito, hope to see it in Royal navy colours!
I like what you've done with the EC-135, odysseus1980.

another swiss Messerschmitt. They were delivered with a german camouflage pattern (which is complicated to draw).

It's not that hard, the splinter at least isn't the rest is just mottles of RLM02 or RLM74/75 over the RLM76 undersurfaces.

Hey, Jabba, wonderful work, but... your later models of Mossie are incorrect, they are missing the lower intake and the lower nose is all wrong. Again, wonderful work, and I checked it out cause it didn't look quite right, will post the FB Mk IV/VI versions soon.
