Shipbucket Manned Mission to Another Celestial Body Challenge
Introduction:
Your AU's space agency plans to visit another celestial object for a manned landing.. This celestial object could be a moon, a planet, or even an asteroid.
For this mission, however, they require a design for a spacecraft that will be able to carry a crew to said celestial object, and land on it with a lander module.
Design Requirements:
1. Your submission must depict a fictional spacecraft with a lander module, capable of visiting another celestial object, landing, and returning from it
2. Near-future technology is allowed, as long as it is proven, plausible and in development in real life (for example, nuclear thermal and nuclear electric propulsion)
3. Must be depicted in shipbucket scale.

Schneider Cup Seaplane Challenge
Introduction:
The Schneider Trophy, a testament to the pioneering spirit of early 20th-century aviation, celebrated the marvels of speed, design, and innovation in seaplane engineering. These aircraft, skimming the boundary between sky and sea, were icons of a time when technological advancement soared. This challenge honors the legacy of those daring seaplane designs by inviting you to conceive a fictional seaplane that embodies the bold ambition and cutting-edge aerodynamics of Schneider Cup competitors. Your design should echo an era where the quest for airspeed records drove breakthroughs in aerodynamics and propulsion.
Design Requirements:
1. Your submission should be a fictional seaplane that captures the essence of the Schneider Cup's golden years, reflecting the technological optimism and competitive spirit of the early to mid-20th century.
2. The design must be historically plausible for an aircraft entering competition by the late 1920s to early 1930s, incorporating the period's advancements in aerodynamics, materials, and engine technology.
3. Your seaplane, while it may take inspiration from various sources, should be portrayed as it would appear in the context of a Schneider Cup race, demonstrating both the elegance and the performance-driven design characteristic of the era's competitive seaplanes.

Re: Future challenge ideas/suggestions
Seconding:
- WWII Maritime Patrol Aircraft Challenge
- Inverse Economy Challenge
- Manned Mission To Another Celestial Body Challenge
And proposing:
"6th Generation" Air Dominance Platform Challenge (FD Scale)
The year is 2030-2050, and, after decades of public squabbles over budget and clandestine development projects, your nation's air force has procured an aircraft that could be considered "6th generation". This means it carries substantial advantages over existing systems in fields such as systems architecture, co-operation with other (manned or un-manned) assets, armaments, propulsion and low observability, engineered for the sole purpose of denying the sky to the enemy. Some nations may find themselves with a relatively austere and grounded fighter design, others will procure a lethal carrier fighter bomber, while others still may attempt to leapfrog all competing assets by a massive margin. Perhaps, this new aircraft may not even resemble a traditional fighter at all! Regardless, it is your job to craft such a system.
I'm actually currently out of SB challenge ideas, I would propose an LCS challenge but we've had an export frigate/corvette challenge proposed recently already and it gathered a substantial amount of votes so I feel like it will likely show up in the next challenge pool, too. Another cool one would be a "1st missile ship" challenge but I think that, too, was already proposed!

Good morning El Snow:
Your PT challenge proposal is for the standart SB scale or for the bigger FD scale? Thanks and cheers.

Unlimited Air Racer Challenge - FD scale
Disclaimer: I'm aware that there's a bit of overlap with the earlier suggeted Schneider cup challenge, however I shall post anyways as I deem the scope of this challenge distinct enough to suggest (though correct me if I'm wrong).
The unlimited air racer challenge takes inspiration from the Reno air races and similar such races, in which high performance aircraft are put to the test in fast, thrilling closed course air races. Custom aircraft do exist, though this class is mostly populated by restored and/or modified World War Two aircraft, and as such this challenge will be constrain mainly to that type.
The requirements for the challenge follow as such:
- Your submission must be in FD scale.
- Your submission must depict a fictional fighter aircraft that first flew between 1937 and 1945.
- This aircraft must be piston driven.
- Your submission must be depicted in racing aircraft configuration (i.e. no gun, ordinance, auxiliary combat equipment etc.).
- A racing livery is not required, however it is encouraged.

Ship of the Line Challenge
The goal of this challenge is to design a ship of the line of any rating.
The ship must have been commissioned between the period between 1600 to 1870.
The ship must have a minimum of 60 guns, and can be up to or more than 160.
The ship must have a minimum length of 60 metres.
Any other requirements are at Kiwi's discretion.

FD scale:
A crazy idea: a Sea-launch platform
- Fast attack boat: design a fast attack boat with a displacement of between 50-300 tons, which can be used for patrol, smuggling, drug trafficking, anti-smuggling, anti-narcotics, or even attacking large ships or other attack boats. The year of appearance was not earlier than 1935(which allows PT boats to appear in the challenge).
- Low cost Jet fighters: with first flight years between 1960 and 2015, such fighters should be designed and built exclusively for countries with limited funds; overpowered equipment is not desirable. Low cost should be a key factor in the design.
- Medium-altitude long-endurance UAV: The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict proved the importance of UAVs in modern warfare, and large UAVs with high payloads and long endurance have become the focus of various countries' development. Please design a Medium-altitude long-endurance UAV with first flight after 2000.

- Wherever our Party and our army went, the people welcomed us with open arms, and we were able to take advantage of the time of the day, and we can still see the vibrant life and development of all things in front of our eyes. Twenty years later, has this place become our burial place?
In any case, the strength of the battle was 800,000 to 600,000, and the advantage is mine!

Unfinished/repurposed hull: Take an unfinished hull from World War 2 and repurpose it for another mission. Could be an incomplete cruiser, battleship, or carrier hull reused for any purpose.
