Avro 642 Eighteen

Image

At the time the largest aircraft produced by Avro, originally produced with a curved, solid nose, the first Avro 642 Eighteen was refitted with a more standard nose section and sold to Midland & Scottish Air Ferries, before heading to Australia and PNG, eventually being destroyed by the Japanese in 1942.
The second and final 642 was produced for the Viceroy of India and was fitted with four engines.

You certainly can't complain about the forward visibility on the first one
“Close” only counts with horseshoes, hand grenades, and tactical nuclear weapons.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error

Excellent additions, I'm especially liking the Avro Eighteen.

RCAF CF-18 Hornet! If your a Canadian military freak you would notice the armament is incorrect. As the RCAF rarely had wing mounted air-to-air missiles. And almost every other 'slot', was air-ground or an external fuel tank. Oh well. :?

Lockheed L082 P-3 Orion by Gunship & Darth Panda. I just 'un-painted' and removed some add-on's specific to a certain AF/Navy

Nice work all, esp. Eswube and BB ;-)

@DeadRight: Nice work here, but that P-3C is out of scale (to short if I remember right). I have an updated version on my PC with the right scale and I gave it to DP a while ago ;-) If you want I can post it but it will need some touch up (Details and shape of the P-3E)...
best regards
Martin
