Yeah, I knew that. :D NS also started as little more than a limited-time advert for that book, Jennifer Government, and kinda took on a life of its own. Originally, it wasn't supposed to last more than a few months.

Actually, it's been a while since I've been there, but I think the FAQ says weeks. It certainly did take on a life of it's own. :?

At this point it's as much based on a book as CoD: Black Ops is based on JFK's presidency.

And yes, I've read Jennifer Government and yes I've played NationStates.

Yeah, I suppose started out as would be a more accurate description.

My only comment on this would be that it has about as much resemblance to warship as a flock of ducks do.

EDIT: And I just noticed that my name is on there, and mispelled too. I cringe at being associated with this dreck. Somebody may think I had something to do with the designing of it. :? Although, I'm not real sure which of my ships that is based on? Its bad when you get "credited" for something you don't even bloody well recognize.

I guess it's supposed to be some kind of arsenal ship? Problem is some of those VLS silos are right up to some of the turrets. Someone's going to have an accident.

with the funnel that far forward meens the engine is up that far would you have a problem with turning the propeller shaft that would be that long. I think it would cost you speed and fuel.

Looks like that thing would break in half the first time it hits slightly heavy seas.
