IAR 80:

Aircraft 343 is the mount of Lt. Ianculescu during de air battles over Ploesti in 1944. Aircraft 137 is the plane of Sgt. Teodorescu at the Pipera airfield during 1942.
Thanks to Rhade! I had copied his romanian cross, because it was far better than mines ;) .

Indeed, an excellent entry into FD. Very nice work reytuerto.
The IAR-80 has long been one of my favourites, lightweight and sleek and yet not as puny as most of the light fighters of its generation.

@Reytuerto
Nice start when it comes to contours etc. :)
But there is one thing it lacks: shading - under the wings and horizontal stabilizers, as well as shading showing the round shape of fuselage. :(
(Upon closer inspection I noticed that there's indeed a 1-pixel thick "lighter" stripe along the upper contour of fuselage, but the shade difference is almost unnoticeable - make it more pronounced and bit wider, like 2-pixels, plus add a darker shade along the bottom contour) ;)

Good morning. Lots of thanks for the templates, the indications for improving the drawing, and the comments. I will work on it this afternoon.

Good start!

There is place for improvement of course, the points from preceding speaker and from me... I see something like the shadow of undercarriage wheel in first IAR 80.

And this is just a start, you need to make every single version of IAR 80 ;)
