Although the red / soviet army was a unique fighting machine and a very good symbol of that fighting power, I am not shure if reintroducing the red star is really a good sign. People could think that the russian government is mentally still in the soviet times.
Maybe the americans should now use the white star again.

As far as i know the red star is u sed only in parades and other shows. operational vehicles dont have it.
And yes it is still soviet mentaly. just look at putins regime

I'm not sure why You all seem so surprised. Red star never
ceased to be a "logo" of the post-soviet Russian Armed Forces. Military District headquartered in St. Petersburg till it's very last days was officialy named "Leningrad Military District" etc. etc.
Rhade - I'm not sure if we still have any sabres left to dust off...

These are all LAVIII, but it seems to me that the mortar carrier and the ARV are un the Bison (LavII) chassis....
