The Cat truly is one of the best flying boat designs ever.

Nice one nighthunter. And good job on those pesky stars too. It's the only thing holding me back from trying out more Russian and American stuff... I just can't draw a decent looking star.

Oh come on! I specifically claimed this one  Besides, it's not Beriev.

Dude, I am so sorry, I missed it!

Oh well, what's done is done.
Beriev is a person, an aircraft designer. The Soviets did indeed buy the license for PBY-1 but they were building those in state-owned plants. I did my homework too, Beriev had nothing to do with the aircraft.

I don't know if anybody has done Neptunes before. I like the lines of this old bird.

Excellent aircraft chaps, a real pleasure to visit here :D And great to see the Neptune arriving Kilomuse - no doubt we'll get to the RAAF and JMSDF versions (or should that be JASDF?)

Kilomuse, just to let you know - since Gollevainen has said that he would not want transparent cockpits anymore, if he assigns me the task of collecting FD-scale drawings in the future, I will edit them out in order to ensure they are considered acceptable. Please do not take this as moderator action as I'm not a moderator and it's predicated on a somewhat big what-if - but it's advice that might save you a little time in the end.
