Some slight tweaks to and updates of the U class SSP and a notional Z class SSP.

The U class has been described previously in detail, the update is confined to the sail and masts therein which have been updated with the required systems.

The Z class is a notional proposal to supplement the two V class SSNs which were modified for special-operations. Being SSNs however they're relatively noisy and rather large not to mention horrendously expensive when modified in the way that they were to conform to the new requirements.
The resulting design is by HDW who are well known to the Royal Galenian Navy is based on the an existing Type 216 design-derivative, they if built would share the same combat systems as their smaller U class cousins but have increased accommodation for special forces and intelligence personnel along with their equipment.
Equipment wise they would feature six 533mm bow tubes with a 1.5m tube for equipment and personnel to be deployed from as well as a trio of 2.5m silos aft of the sail which could be used either for the same purpose as the 1.5m tube or for carriage of UUVs / USVs / UAVs or weapons. Yet further back there is provision for a DDS capable of storing out-sized equipment such as small boats and the like for raiding parties.

Both designs feature modular masts in their sails for various mission-specific payloads. Those currently certified for use are a MCRWS, SHORAD cluster and a COMINT/SIGINT array. UAVs are expected to be part of the Z class deal should it progress to production.

Various updates to come.

I really like that colour combination on the subs, BB.

The level of detailing and armament combinations that can be carried by the subs shows great knowledge of your subject.

Thanks all for the kind words! There's a couple of designs well into production at the moment that will be up soonish. A Sub-tender and a related rescue ship as well as another global influence vessel.
