BEAUTIFUL work Black Buck :!:

I find the smaller, often overlooked, hard working shunter's, just as appealing as the larger BR locomotives. Nice work.

The D78 Stock of the London Underground's District Line

As delivered in 1980:

In the late 1990's, canvas barriers were added between the cars for added safety at platform level:

From 2004-2008, the fleet of D78 stock was overhauled, including a refurbished interior, applying the new Underground paint scheme, and the removal of now redundant door buttons:

These trains have now been replaced by the new S stock, the last D78 Stock train having run in regular operation in April of 2017.
