Here is another legend of Soviet cruise fleet - turbine liner Maxim Gorkiy.
The final product would definitely be a sight to behold, that's for sureCaptainPaulov wrote: ↑October 22nd, 2019, 6:17 pm Wondering if theres anyone willing to take a gander at the Phoenix World City?
I would try but im inexperienced at best xD
Not much in the way of plans/blueprints, but they did develop concept art, interior plans and specs: https://www.knudehansen.com/reference/p ... orld-city/
I agree with you about the rudder shades, I'll correct it. But the shades of the bulge not so clear. The bulge has a form of cigare, inserted to the standart merchant hull. So it has sharp curves in places of contact with hull. So the shadows should be shown in these places and on the top side of the bulge, as drawn, I think.eswube wrote: ↑April 15th, 2022, 8:30 am Olekit24
Great work, except for odd shading of the rudder (it's basically flat-ish, so one shade overall + highlight along the front edge would suffice) and bow bulge (it's shaded on upper-forward side, which is where the light would fall had it been not submerged).
Well, according to my understanding of SB shading style, the cross section of the bow shaded the way You did it looks like that:olekit24 wrote: ↑April 22nd, 2022, 7:37 am I agree with you about the rudder shades, I'll correct it.
