Rodondo if you or anyone else have no plans to do the J class I might take a look at it.

I have no plan to do the J class, however I do request that you do draw the J7 (as I live very close to her) I also Have photos and diagrams which show the difference between the J1 and the rest of the J class

That site I previously mentioned has information on the J Class.
http://www.rnsubs.co.uk/Boats/BR3043/chapter07.php See Plate 27 for J Class plans and Figure 7.4 for a poor quality plan of J7

Something missed on the site is the wing on the sail that the J1 only had though.

"On another note I was looking at the fantastic artwork in Real Designs (especially the Australian area), Portsmouth Bill and Squizzy I like your Australian Darings but would make one observation: Aussie Darings had less scuttles than their British sisters. A small point but it makes the Australian ships look cleaner or something. Have a look for Vampire etc, in Kookaburra's Photostream

Thanks G I hadn’t done a scuttle count on the Australia Daring still pottering away on a drawing of Voyager, I often check with Kookaburra's Photostream great stuff there and they knows their stuff

One more from my work list, is HMS Rorqual, a mine laying submarine built in 1936, and the only one of her class to survive WW2.
