My thought exactly! That's why a searchable list of completed planes/ships would be really helpful; especially with their numbers growing so fast.
Essentially it needs to be a plain text list with some kind of craft identifier (class/name/model/NATO reporting name etc) and the URL pointing at the page where it can be found.
So if any of the admins think this idea is worth doing I'm totally up for trying to implement it.

If you want to tackle the problem, I'd love to see a good list of what's been drawn.

IMO, the best thing would be to sort on country, as every nation has it's own livery....
that's why I am now (slowly) continouing with the plane part of the dutch parts sheet....

I don't think that country is that important, because if you want to draw a plane you would look for manufacturer and model first to check if it was already drawn.

that is true. BUT if it is drawn, you'll have to find the livery of the nation you need.
so, for me the best would be:
1. aircraft list(on nation of origin/manfacturer), with only grey and black, no markings or liveries
2. nations aircraft list, with the liveries and extra data, just like

I was talking about searchable (i.e. plain text, no images) list, that would help you find if the aircraft was drawn and if it was, where to find it.
It's not that I don't see your point, I do. I'm just not gonna do the country/livery list

A good search will be if all aircraft that were done will be in plain grey or white, no country liveries at all. That way you can add any country you want including AU countries.

What about the possibillity to mix your both ideas? I know for sure, if it's done right, you can make links from manufactures to countries and vice versa. It would be great with that kind of search opportunities

yeah, that's possible, but that would need a lot of work. more work then it is worth, IMO.
