Ok im sick of it, i am going to make a top view for that Mk41 VLS.
Because that what you have (and what i made for my own ships) doesnt look like it.
And it bugger's me.

Image
I myself miss the fire direction shafts. And my attach points from the doors are to big.
And i got square doors.
And you miss every detail :P

Ill be making it today when i got back from work, and im sure gonna spent some time in it.

Also for Parts sheet list. Why does the harpoon have a yellow band?
Not even one in the world has one, some do have red as indication of some specs. But not yellow.
Also i will make an ''asfalt'' slip free texture to use on your top view.
It will be nice for myself also, i will post it togheter with the wooden one i got on the old board.

For the rest, i think your drawing needs more details.
Look at ships from the USA from that time, or USA build ones for other countries, and take some stuff over.
Maby water pipes?
UHF/SHF lines for communication.

There's no shading in the hull cut-outs and you've saved it as a jpeg.
will fix both. my mistake.

@ mitch: this MK41 is from Erik_T's CGN, and you should adress him if it is wrong. I doesn't care if it is right or wrong on this drawing, as it just shows the setup of the ship, it is not meant to be entirely accurate (yet)
the other points should be said in the parts sheet discussion, not in this thread, as it is not about the csgn itself.

and for details: I disagree. look for example at the DG/AEGIS, it is almost as detailed as that one. it looks less detailed, but that's because you can't detail much on an steal wall with only water next to it :P

EDIT: fixed

Ace, do you mind if I try and make a few more tweaks to the ship? I'd like to give it a shot at improving the electronics fit.

no, just joking, take your time. as this is quite an interesting ship, I want it to be as good as it gets, and I guess you have the same idea ;)

At least they weren't the cells Bagera3005 made. Changing mine up right now.

comments on the extra detail I added on the structure (it's in a different layer, so I can still edit/remove it. if this is ok, I suppose the ship is finished.
