In 1960 the Rchfort Army needed a replacement for there aging halftracks APC. So they develept the YPR-612 APC to replace them. Some pof these YPR-612 are still in use by the Army now.

is the language of rochfort dutch? otherwise I would think it weird to have the dutch acronyms (for example PRAT = Pantser Rups Anti Tank, meaning armoured tracked anti tank)
