But what will happen to those boats during a full broadside slavo? Something interesting might happen...
Re: HMS Agincourt (1914)
The flying boat deck, as Heuhen said was to make the most of the deck space. The RN did away with it shortly after commissioning, and boats were stowed on deck.Clonecommander6454 wrote:Oh Nice! But how exactly and why are the boats placed in such a interesting location?
Regarding concussive effects from the 12"ers, being near the centreline and above, I guess they would be Ok.

Superb! I'm going to check the 1914 boat complement. It may be that you could lack one or two types that I've drawn since posting that parts sheet. If so, I'll make it good by sending them to you!
Anyhoo...at Jutland there were a betting going on among gunnery officers that when the 'Gin Palace' opened up a full 14-gun salvo she'd turn turtle by the effect of the blast and recoil. Instead she proved to be a very steady gun platform with but little roll.
She was an impressive vessel, though wholly unsuited to face other battleships on even terms, due to her thin sides (9" armor).

If Jabba is ok with it, I can fix the RdeJ and SO1, so that no one have to ask...

This is really good work. I never even knew this ship existed - turns out I know next to nothing about the Great War despite my extensive knowledge of the second world war... something I need to fix.

From page 170 of The Fighting Ships In the Royal Navy by E.H.H. Archibald:
What impressess is the cost of these these warships to nations that could ill afford them; but as Archibald explains, they served well with the Grand Fleet
