about the frigate listing: many dutch 'frigates' are called that way for politicians, as they are size and capability wise destroyers. I am not saying you should change the listing on your template, but to compare specifications your ship is an destroyer ;)

halifax class, type 22, kortenaer etc are quite a lot smaller. your ship has about the same weapons as the iroquis class destroyer, only with 1 seaking instead of the 2 of the iroquis. this is where my comment comes from.
I would expect something like ASROC on board or an second heavy helicopter.... but it is your ship, I am just naming my preferences. fact is, that your ship could be the size of an kortenaer class and still have about the same arnament.

Yes I know its interesting to debate the points and actually it's a useful exercise defending descisions made. made me think of some things I'd do differently.
In my description I mentioned its got Falklands lessons learned and one of those as well as DamCon and fire fighting was need for NGFS for that you need a reasonable calibre 100mm I would say is the minimum 4.5 Mk 8 or 5in Oto-Melara are better options. Also ships of more traditional build fared better in extreme weather and in soaking up damage so alot of the weight is steel as opposed to aluminum. length wise she's close to a Type22/III & Beam is same as a Halifax.
With a seaking who needs ASROC?

BTW Type 22 frigate was designed with two Lynx helicopters in mind, but for budget reasons carried only one. The bigger Merlin was of course a single unit on each frigate.

Thanks, did you fix the Label and credits on your SSN? Also this is Era specific, 1970's-1980's not anything after.
