Not only were the Wicks and Clemson class DD's different enough to warrant a redraw the current Clemson drawing is in the as built configuration circa 1919 and it would be a great addition if you modified/redrew it to its 1941 configuration with measure 1 camouflage etc. That would probably involve more looking at pictures than tracing over a blueprint though. I would be excited to see that if you feel inclined to continue with this project.

Syzmo's suggestion that you have a go at the research and redrawing is a good one. You'll learn a LOT about SB drawing practices, the research end, and probably score a few brownie points.

i dont do camoflage

I think you're in the wrong place then. A substantive portion of Shipbucket is the detail work.
