Are active stabilizers ever used on ships of this sort? They seem out of place (and very large, in any case).

Well the ship is suposed to be very fast and agile thats why i thought of adding the thrusters and the fins and it has a sonar because one of its tasks is to look for submarines so it can serve as a smaller and more cost efficient escort for a small task force were using much larger ships would cause problems.

Bow thrusters does nothing for manoeuvrability above ~4kts
“Close” only counts with horseshoes, hand grenades, and tactical nuclear weapons.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error

VAI AT-1E: The AT-1E is light attack aircraft with limited air defence & antiship capabilitys developed by VAI from there AT-1B to fill the requirement from the Panamanian national air service for a small and cheap aircraft that could perform air defence missions and also be capable of intercepting small ship usually used for smuggling, and the aircraft also had to be easy to maintain and be capable of operating from unprepared airstrips with little logistical support. VAI answered the request with a modified version of the AT-1B ground attack aircraft called AT-1E. The new variant has a series of unique features such as the strenghened landing gear from the carrier variant a more powerful engine, extended wing roots, encreased fuel capacity and a radar that allows it to carry the MICA air to air missile and the Exocet. The AT-1E won the contract in competition with aircraft such as the HAWK, M346, YAK-130, L-15 & second hand AMX.

Hello everyone i havent been able to post anything because my hard drive was damaged and i lost all the information. So while rebuild everything here is a little preview.

After the communist government in venezuela was overthrown other leftist governments in south america started to fall as well due to the elimination of foreign aid given by Venezuela. This also left the Cuban regime without financial support and China with only two allies in South America, Cuba and Bolivia. The cuban government dicided to use Angola as a new economic allied and in coopereration with China they started to expand their influence in Namibia and Zimbabwe. A large number of Cuban troops were stationed in Angola and started conducting raids in the neighbour countries to destabilze their governments and replace them with puppet leaders.
It didnt take long for the South African government to realize the massive threat the cuban and chinese influence posed to South africas interests. One of the most worring aspects of the chinese aid to this countries was the large number of weapons supplied to this countries, in order to counter the weapons build up in the area the South African Armed Forces started an ambitious moderization process and the goverment approved an enlarged budget to reequip the Armed Forces.

That AT-1E is certainly interesting, is it entirely yours or did you use a "base" like the AMX?

Also, on your battleship - it just occurred to me that you have a perfect place for boat stowage on the deck - and yet your boat cranes are impossibly far away from it!
