They are still in service??

Yes, still in service with the Navy and some Air Force units.
There is also a PAMAS G1 (which is a licence built Beretta 92F) and now the Glock 17 Gen 5 called PSA (Pistolet Semi-Automatique) for the combat units of the ground forces.
Gendarmerie has changed MAC50 for SIG P2022 since 2002.
