Auster was a small British liaison and observation aircraft adapted from civilian sports plane in 1942 and produced - in more and more modified variants - until early 1960s.

One of the best-known twin-engine fighters of WW2, plane that doesn't need much introduction - Bristol Beaufighter. :)

The Austers are fab and the Beaufighter series is just awesome.

Great work on the Shrimp, one of the lesser known aircraft of that period.
For folks who have never heard of it, it was a scaled prototype for the Short Shetland flyingboat (following on from Shorts scale-prototype of the Stirling).
