Re: Mister Hoover's Navy
if they are not credited... you should remove them.
If shipbucket rules say that all drawing we draw and post on this forum must be credited, by our own name and original artist name. Then it should also count for drawing we take from Google.
Re: Mister Hoover's Navy
Yes, remove them at once. Reposting uncredited Shipbucket art on our own forum just gives others the impression that we don't care to properly enforce our own rules.
Re: Mister Hoover's Navy
I have gone through this thread and source credited all photos, maps, and examples in this thread that I posted.
Many items have been removed and text to search substituted. AFAIK, there is nothing uncredited. If the photos have to go, they will be removed.

I will say Photos are okay. I think Colosseum put the line at drawings
Re: Mister Hoover's Navy
Jeez, I just meant the uncredited Shipbucket drawings (mainly just the Arleigh Burke DDG) in your post on page 12. I didn't mean for you to delete everything!

What is actually spoken about here is: http://www.shipbucket.com/license
you are not writing a scientific paper, so those rules do not apply. you are however on the shipbucket forum and using shipbucket style work, so the crediting rules used for that apply.

Drawings are credited with J.Scholtens
I ask of you to prove me wrong. Not say I am wrong, but prove it, because then I will have learned something new.

That attribution rule I know. Charybdis is the prime for the Derfflinger carrier conversion which started this whole thread.
He will still be credited with the USS Lake Erie when I repost it later this week.
Maps and such rep art are mine.

Re: Mister Hoover's Navy
The only thing I'm concerned about you crediting is the Shipbucket-format art you've posted in this thread, both yours and other art found online. I don't care what you do with your maps or photos, or even other ship profiles that are not in our format.
